Til-Gul patti/ Tilachi Chikki

Tilpatti Recipe

Til-Gul patti is crunchy and chewy sweet snack made from sesame seeds(Til) and Jaggery(Gudh) . Usually, It is made during Makar Sankrant. There is a scientific reason behind this, as Makar Sankranti is celebrated in January, which is winter season in India and sesame seeds are good to eat during winter. But, it is not compulsory that we should make it during Makar Sankrant Only, right?, We can make  it any time.

Me and my family love this Til-Gul Patti. Even many times, I make it in bulk, and store it in airtight container. It lasts for a month. It tastes so good, that you can not stop yourself from having another bite. It requires very few ingredients which are easily available in our kitchen.
